This was one chapter I read and it was about Ronnie's dad Steve. It mostly talked about his life, his family, and where he lived. It explained that his father died from cancer and he kept to himself and didn't talk much. Probably where Steve got the same personality of not wanting to talk or explain his feelings. His father had certain routines of what he did during the week, while his mother was always in the kitchen cooking. It talked about his life with Kim (Ronnie's mother) when they were married, and how she wanted them to go to counseling which he hated because he didn't like explaining his feelings in front of a complete stranger, let alone at all. He said he "felt empty".
