This chapter talks about Ronnie. She went to Bower's Point again with Blaze, Marcus and his friends. Everyone was drinking again besides Ronnie considering she didn't drink. Marcus kept hitting on Blaze and touching her side, he offered to take her for a walk but she just seemed disgusted and said no, then decided to go home. When she said no though, Marcus tried to play it off like she was the one asking to go for a walk and said loud enough for everyone to hear "No, I'll just stay here. But thanks for asking". She worried about Blaze being mad at her and believing his lies that night and the next morning as she went to look for her in the music store. When she got there, Blaze did was she expected, be mad at her and accuse her of wanting Marcus. As Ronnie walked out the store the beeper went off as the man asked to see her bag, as she handed it to him thinking nothing was in it, he pulled out the two CD's Blaze had in her hands.
