pgs 38-56
Sparks talks about how Marcus tries to flirt with Ronnie and offers to go off to Florida with her, even though they only met for one day. His main point though was about Will, and his relationship with Ashley, and how she still wants him back after two years even though he is over it. Scott (Will's friend) tries to convince him to go to Ashley's house sense her parents are out of town, so Cassie (Ashley's friend), Ashley, Will, and Scott can all "hang out", but Will is not for it. Ashley keeps bugging him at the fair, and then it leads to Marcus and his gang, trying to get in a fight with Scott. This is when Will sees Ronnie because she breaks up the fight, and picks up a lost little boy who got knocked down during the fight. He realizes she is different then other girls. She leaves the scene with Blaze, Marcus, and the rest of the group to go to Bower's Point. The police come after the fight and start to talk to Scott, but they deny it. He ends up knowing Ronnie's father, who wondered where Ronnie stormed off from. As he was talking to the officer, Will interrupted and told him that they went to Bower's Point, his friend's saw a look in his eyes, and they asked what it was about but he couldn't even answer for himself.
This picture reminds me of Ronnie's helpful, caring, loving hands with the child that she picked up.
